Important updates in effect as of 6/6/21
In consideration of the updated safety guidelines from the CDC and the State of New Jersey, please note our updated safety protocols below.
If you or anyone in your household are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, an unusual cough, chills, body aches, etc., or have been exposed to someone having such symptoms or with COVID-19, please refrain from attending any Evangel services or events in-person.
The wearing of masks is optional for all indoor and outdoor services and events (for Evangel Kids see below).
There will be no vaccination or health related screening for guests, volunteers, or staff.
We will be altering our seating practices in order to maintain safety and comfort while maximizing our spaces to make room for those that are coming to worship our Lord.
Our Hospitality Team will be prepared to seat you as comfortably as possible in our indoor and outdoor spaces (outdoor at Scotch Plains only). If you have any needs or concerns with seating, our team will be happy to assist you.
Masks are optional for all children and Evangel Kids Volunteers for all church events.
We continue to maintain hand sanitizing stations throughout our premises and encourage use of hand washing for everyone's safety.
We love, honor and respect each other in order to display the love of Christ and foster unity. We recognize that there are differing views and needs with respect to masks, vaccines and other COVID-19 related issues. Thank you for displaying Christ's love to all who come to Evangel, whether they share your views or not.
SAFETY PROTOCOL CHANGES
We are regularly and prayerfully monitoring the latest government guidelines and the needs of those who call Evangel home and will be updating our safety protocols as needed.
Let’s remember the words of Jesus, “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.“ John 17:22-23
