The Table

Transformation happens at the table.

Throughout the ministry of Jesus, the table is more than a piece of furniture. It is a place of calling, confrontation, healing, mercy, forgiveness, friendship, formation, and mission.

Jesus consistently moved toward people through meals. He ate with tax collectors and sinners. He received worship from broken people at tables. He taught distracted disciples in homes. He told parables about banquets. He gave Himself through bread and cup. And after the resurrection, the church continued His way by devoting themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer.

This series calls people out of private, anonymous, consumer Christianity and into the family-forming life of Jesus.

We are not just trying to get people into groups.

We are trying to help people become the kind of disciples who are known, healed, challenged, forgiven, and sent in spiritual family.
