A place for kids to serve
The goal of this ministry is to give children that love singing, drama, dancing and media an opportunity to and a place within the church to serve others.
We want children excited to serve using the gifts that God has given them. Although these are primarily performance-based ministries, our vision is to transform the perspective of the children from performance to worship. We want them to connect with each other, as well as with leaders who will teach them what worship truly is. Through discipleship, as well as practical training, we hope to begin to shift their mindset and help them understand what a privilege it is to serve and lead others in worshipping the true and living God.

Kids who have completed 1st – 6th Grade (as of June 2026)

Creative Kids Choir Takes on the Summer!!!
We’re excited to announce the Creative Kids Worship Workshop — a fun, faith-filled week where kids will grow in their musical gifts and lead others in worship! Throughout the week, participants will rehearse worship songs and prepare to lead during our Sunday services at Evangel Scotch Plains on Sunday, August 30th (8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:45am).
Please Note: This workshop is for CURRENT EVANGEL ATTENDEES ONLY.
Dates: Monday, August 24 – Thursday, August 27
Time: 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Who: Kids who completed 1st–6th grade (as of June 2026)
Cost: $25 per child
Location: Evangel Church – Scotch Plains Campus
Important Attendance Requirement:
Participation in all workshop days is required in order to be part of the final Sunday worship team, except in the case of illness or emergency. Please plan your schedule accordingly.
Important Dates:
Sunday, August 30th (all 3 services): Leading Sunday Morning Worship at our Scotch Plains Location.
Pre-registration is required. Last day to register is Friday, August 21st or until spots are filled.
